Virtual Q&A: Uniesse Exuma HTC5

Uniesse’s new Exuma line, including the Exuma HTC5, carves out a market niche that aims to satisfy boaters with multiple interests.

Yachting Editor-in-Chief Patrick Sciacca sits down with Uniesse Executive Director David Schwedel to talk about the manufacturer’s new line of fully fish-, dive-, cruise- and extended stay-capable yachts – the Exuma series. They specifically discuss the HTC5, the newest model in the series.

Uniesse’s Exuma line offers four base models in the 50- to 54-foot size range: the 50-foot crossover console Exuma S5 and Exuma SF5 with tuna tower; and the 54-foot, 7-inch, enclosed cockpit Exuma HTC5 and Exuma HTF5 with tuna tower and livewell. Conceived to be fully fish, dive, cruise and extended stay capable, each yacht in the Exuma line offers a shallow 3-foot, 10-inch draft, incredible interior volume and numerous options for owner customizations. With a name inspired by the meandering Bahamian island chain that draws boaters from far and wide to fish, dive, explore and unwind in its shallow waters, Uniesse’s new Exuma line meets the demand of experienced boaters who appreciate heritage, versatility, design, and performance.
