Navionics+ charts are now available in the In-App Chart Store for iNavX, a navigation app that supports hundreds of worldwide charts from various providers.
The Navionics+ charts let users select navigational data from one of seven global regions. For the United States and Canada, boaters can choose freshwater and saltwater charts that include Navionics+ features Nautical Chart and SonarChartTM.
“No other marine navigation application offers users the breadth of chart provider choices,” Shaun Steingold, CEO of NavX Studios, stated in a press release.
The iNavX app can be used as a full-color chartplotter, a toolkit or a redundancy system to display current position using a mobile device’s built-in GPS, and can plot course, bearing and waypoints. Where to download: iNavX is available for Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPads from the App Store, priced at $24.
