The owner of a 39-foot boat is singing the praises of GOST after his NT-Evolution 2.0 security system thwarted an attempted theft of his helm electronics in West Palm Beach, Florida.
According to GOST, the system’s “sensors tripped the moment the thieves stepped on board.” A siren and strobe were triggered, and the boat owner received an alert by way of phone, text and email.
Cameras caught the would-be thieves fleeing the boat, which was unharmed.
Five other boat owners in the same marina suffered losses that GOST described as “thousands of dollars in electronics as well as thousands of dollars in damage to the vessels themselves.”
The boat owner says: “Aboard my 39-foot Invincible center console, the scumbag triggered my GOST siren and strobe system. My onboard surveillance caught him running away down the dock moments later. My investment in GOST was most definitely money well spent.”
