Feadship's recent launch included many firsts for the company - and the owner.

In May, Netherlands based yacht company Feadship launched custom superyacht Joy. At an impressive LOA of 230 feet, Joy is not only the first yacht the client has ever built, but also the first yacht he has ever owned.

Joy is the first superyacht to feature an exterior design by London based studio Bannenberg & Rowell, a company typically known for its reputation in interior design work. This was also the first time the company was able to showcase their exterior expertise since the death of Jon Bannenberg in 2002.

Joy was also the first Feadship to include interior designs by Studio Indigo, who looked to blend interior and exterior spaces. Through opening the glass doors on to the main, owner and bridge decks, the interior spaces are immensely extended. Over 250 different finishes and materials create a sense of variety throughout Joy‘s interior.
