Last April, we told you about the 30-month restoration of the 1937 yacht Malahne, a 165-footer originally built by Camper & Nicholsons and brought back to life by Pendennis. Now comes word from Edmiston and Company that the classic beauty is accepting charter inquiries for the Historic Monaco Grand Prix from May 13-15.

Could there be a better event for chartering a classic yacht like Malahne? Fans of classic racecars are expected be exuberant this year, as the Historic Monaco Grand Prix celebrates its 10th anniversary. The previous race organized by the Automibile Club of Monaco included cars dating back to 1939, nearly the same vintage as Malahne herself.

The yacht is rated for parties with as many as 40 guests at the quay, and her custom 24-foot Cockwells mahogany tender will look like she’s fresh out of a time capsule as she ferries charter guests from the yacht to points ashore for post-race parties.

Charter rate for the Historic Monaco Grand Prix: about $108,000 for four days, including a berth in port next to the racecourse.
