The Charter File: New Options

Take a look at the new charters on the market.

WAIT TILL YOU SEE INSIDE

Delivered in July 2015, Scorpion has an interior so customized that an owner’s representative says it houses “the most money Sanlorenzo has ever had [spent] on an interior.”

BE AMONG THE FIRST

IYC just welcomed Lady L to the charter fleet in mid-December, when our editor got aboard and thought the yacht looked brand-new. Lady L is a 2012 build, but this is the first time she will take bookings. Look for her in the Mediterranean this summer.

ONE LETTER, THAT’S ALL

You are not seeing a typo in the headline at right. The name of this new Benetti is a single letter: H. She is her owner’s second yacht; he made a massive move up in size from a 78-foot Lazzara after eight years of ownership.

SWEET SISTERSHIP

Blue Deer is one of two Sunreef 74s built for the same family (the other, also for charter, is 19th Hole). They are Hulls No. 2 and 3 in the new line, the first to be offered for charter. Both will be in the Mediterranean this summer.

ZERO-SPEED COMFORT

Aphrodite is a 2010 build that joined the Northrop & Johnson charter fleet in December. She stands out among Westport 130s for charter because she has zero-speed stabilizers.
