The Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht took home the Fox Sports Best of Show award for boats under 60 feet at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, marking the second consecutive year Viking Yacht Company’s Valhalla Sport Yacht line has earned the honor. The Valhalla 55 Sport Yacht won the same category in 2025.
Viking President and CEO Patrick Healey walked judges through the new 46 Sport Yacht, highlighting its construction, performance and versatility. He described the model as a “Bahamas Express,” designed for comfortable day trips to the islands with an air-conditioned pilothouse that can open to the outdoors. Powered side doors, a full-width retractable aft window and a sunroof provide flexibility between enclosed and open-air operation.
Measuring 46 feet, 7 inches, the 46 Sport Yacht is powered by triple Mercury V12 600-hp Verado outboards, with a reported top speed of more than 50 knots. Its double-stepped running surface was designed by Michael Peters. Belowdecks, the two-stateroom layout includes a forward queen berth, twin guest berths, a galley and a head with a separate shower.
Outdoor amenities include a summer kitchen, U-shaped cockpit lounge and powered balcony doors that provide additional seating and access to the water. Viking also offers the model in enclosed and open-pilothouse configurations, as well as a Sportfish Edition.
