Numarine 38XPC | Classic Lines With an Explorer Heart
The timeless styling on the exterior of the Numarine 38 XPC is by Can Yalman, who has penned everything from flybridge to open and sport-top models for Numarine. With this yacht, as well as its sistership, the 39XPC, the idea is to reinterpret timeless aesthetics through a lens of modern exploration. Naval architecture is thoroughly modern, by Umberto Tagliavini, as are the interiors by Hot Lab. The concept, Yalman says, evolved after he reflected on recent models: “After years of working on highly optimized, contemporary explorer yachts, there was a desire to reconnect with more timeless principles of naval design.”
Van der Valk My One | Now Cruising the Mediterranean
Van der Valk shipyard has sold My One, whose 750 hp Volvo Penta D16-MH engines reportedly push her to a cruising speed of 13 knots with a top end of 14.3 knots. Exterior design is by Guido de Groot, with interiors by Carla Guilhem. The yacht is designed with outdoor recreation in mind, including a foldout beach club aft and a lazarette appropriately sized for numerous water toys. Up top, there is a hot tub with a wet bar for guests who simply wish to relax. Accommodations are for 10 guests in five staterooms, including a full-beam owners’ space. There are also quarters for six crew.
Cantiere delle Marche Deep Blue 115 Octopus | Long-Range Ready
This yacht evolved from a build that was supposed to be a one-off, and that was delivered three years ago. Numerous clients requested similar designs, so Cantiere delle Marche worked with Horacio Bozzo on exteriors to develop the Deep Blue 115. The yard tapped Giorgio M. Cassetta for interiors. This is now one of several Deep Blue designs, with two Deep Blue 141s on schedule to be delivered in 2027 and 2028. Twin 700 hp Caterpillar C18 engines on the 115 reportedly allow for a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 9 knots. Top speed with this yacht is 13.5 knots, according to the shipyard.
