Blohm + Voss has launched the 269-foot Graceful.

The Blohm + Voss shipyard in Germany has just launched the 269-foot Graceful, which will next begin sea trials ahead of her scheduled delivery in December.
Here are eight reasons that we’re loving this new superyacht:

1) Her range will be 5,500 nautical miles, which means she has transatlantic capability.

2) Her speed is 17.6 knots, which means that she hasn’t sacrificed size for performance.

3) There is a nearly 50-by-10-foot indoor swimming pool onboard, for rainy days when you can’t swim in the ocean.

4) That pool converts to a dance floor, for when you’d rather twerk than freestyle.

5) The owner’s suite has a folding balcony that creates a private outdoor terrace.

6) Two of the five other guest staterooms are VIP suites.

7) She’s on track for an on-time delivery following 18 months of fit-out and 33 months of construction. (Remember when superyachts used to take super-long to

build?)
8) What a great name: Graceful. That word should come to mind more often when talking about the world’s most elegantly designed and expertly built superyachts.
