Raymarine’s Ray52 VHF with built-in GPS receiver is now available in most retail stores.

It’s a smaller radio unit designed for what Raymarine calls “crowded helms,” and is the right size for many yacht tenders.

The Ray52 VHF is a fixed-mount radio with oversized controls and a backlit LCD display. Features include Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC), a built-in 72-channel WAAS GPS receiver, standard NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 networking, and NOAA weather alert.

The Ray52 VHF can also integrate with Raymarine’s LightHouse II multifunction displays for advanced DSC functions.

Ray52 VHF dimensions: 6.6 inches wide by 6.8 inches deep (add another inch of depth for wiring at the back of the unit).
