BlackCat Superyachts has added a second design to its BlackCat series, the 35 Meter, a new luxury catamaran. The 114-foot BlackCat has a 46-foot beam creating massive deck space. Belowdecks are 6 staterooms that accommodate 8 guests plus 4 crew. Her main deck has a single-level salon ready to host a dinner party.

This superyacht has a carbon fiber build for strength without excessive weight. The builder expects the yacht to have a 20-knot cruising speed and a 32-knot top end.

“After launching the BlackCat 50M model in 2016 it became apparent that the market appetite for a high-quality superyacht multihull is rapidly growing. The BlackCat 35 offers the same characteristics of style and performance in this smaller model.”

The BlackCat 35 design is ready to accommodate any custom detail the owner may desire, “down to the smallest detail” the builder says. This superyacht idea is from Malcolm Mckeon Yacht Design. However, the creation of the concept was a team effort, including Baltic Yachts for its experience with carbon composite structures; North Technology Group to provide sails and rigging packages; and M2 Altelier for interior design.

Y.co has recently joined BlackCat Superyachts’ team as the builder’s designated yacht broker. Although the 35 isn’t yet on sale, her sister, the BlackCat 50 is. Find out more here.
