Heesen Yachts has joined the hull and superstructure of YN 18250, a 164-foot aluminum motoryacht dubbed Project Ayla, with exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects.

Twin MTU 16V Series 4000 engines have been installed, with an expected maximum speed of 23 knots. At 11 knots, Project Ayla is expected to have a range of 3,200 nautical miles.

The interior décor will be by Cristiano Gatto. It is being called “minimalist chic, a contemporary interpretation of New Deco style inspired by the work of Jean-Michel Frank.”
