132-foot Amels motoryacht Monte Carlo
Broker Kent Chamberlain is encouraging buyers to bring offers, with trades considered, for the 132-foot Amels trideck Monte Carlo, which is on the brokerage market at an asking price of $3.95 million.
“Monte Carlo has been very well maintained by a series of knowledgeable yacht owners who have all spent money when and where needed,” Chamberlain says. “Her current owner has continued to spend money on improvements, updates and upgrades, and it shows. He has two other large yachts and would like to reduce his inventory by one, so Monte Carlo is seriously for sale.”
Monte Carlo recently finished a refurbishment and completed most recommendations from a recent survey, Chamberlain says. That work was in addition to a complete interior refit done by Claudette Bonville in 2006; new air handlers, cabin controls, engine batteries and a SeaTel satellite television system installed in 2008; and an interior update done in 2012.
Amels launched Monte Carlo in 1988. She has a pair of 1,960-hp MTU diesels that give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots. She’s currently lying in Florida.
