You Can Now Get C-Map Charts for Free

C-Map charts are being offered for free by way of a mail-in rebate with the purchase of certain Lowrance, Simrad and B&G fishfinder/chartplotter displays.

The free-chart giveaway runs through October 31. Anyone who buys a Lowrance HDS Carbon or Elite Ti fishfinder/chartplotter can select a C-Map Max-N+ Coastal Chart or a C-Map Lake Insight HD card. Buyers of a Lowrance Hook2 fishfinder/chartplotter display can receive a C-Map Insight Pro card.

Through December 31, the freebie deal is available with the purchase any Simrad GO XSE/XSR or NSS Evo3 displays, as well as the B&G Vulcan or Zeus3 sailing chartplotter.

C-Map MAX-N+ has a retail price of $299, while Insight HD maps are valued at $169. They are the premium versions of maps that come with every Lowrance or Simrad chartplotter. Features include high-resolution satellite imagery, aerial photographs, 3-D views, high-resolution bathymetric fishing charts, detailed marina charts and dynamic raster charts.

C-Map Insight Pro, priced at $99, adds a fresh look to existing charts.

What areas do the charts cover? C-Map MAX-N+ includes the U.S. West Coast and Hawaii, Central America and the Caribbean, and the U.S. East Coast and Bahamas. C-Map Insight HD is available for U.S. lakes in the West, North Central, South Central, Southeast and Northeast. C-Map Insight Pro includes U.S. inland and coastal coverage, including Alaska and Hawaii.
