Fraser Yachts Worldwide has announced the winners of its annual awards for top charter yacht captains and crew in its fleet.

The overall winner of the Charter Captain of the Year Award is Rob Shelnut of the 187-foot Trinity Lady Sara. The yacht is just completing her Mediterranean yacht charter season and will be available this winter in the Bahamas, taking 12 guests at a weekly base rate of $350,000.

In the category for charter yachts 164 feet and larger, the winner of the Best Charter Crew Award was Capt. Paul Bickley and his team aboard the 170-foot Benetti Latitude. That yacht is based year-round in the Mediterranean, taking 12 guests at a weekly base rate of €231,000 (about $261,500).

In the category for charter yachts smaller than 164 feet, the Best Charter Crew Award went to Capt. Guy Booth and his team aboard the 122-foot Heesen Aurelia. Also based year-round in the Mediterranean, she accommodates eight guests at a weekly base rate of €120,000 (about $136,000).

How many times have the awards been given? This is Fraser’s 15th year of hosting the event.
