Athens, Greece-based builder Technohull has introduced the Alpha 45, a new high-performance dayboat that slots between the Alpha 40 and Alpha 50 in the company’s lineup. At about 45 feet length overall with a 14-foot beam, the model blends the brand’s go-fast heritage with the deck space and accommodations expected of a modern luxury sportboat. It’s also an excellent choice as a high-performance yacht tender.
The Alpha 45 rides on Technohull’s Dynastream stepped deep-V hull with ventilated steps and a wave-piercing bow designed to improve efficiency and comfort at speed. With quad 500 hp outboards, the builder says the boat can exceed 85 knots, with a cruising speed of more than 40 knots. Additional inboard and outboard configurations are expected to offer different balances of speed and range.
At the helm, a pair of three-across rows of seats place the skipper in the center position for visibility. The hardtop and sharply raked windscreen have been reshaped to improve aerodynamics, while side deflectors help redirect airflow away from the helm seating area.
The deck layout is arranged for flexibility and easy movement around the boat. A bow sunpad and forward-facing seating sit ahead of the console, while the cockpit can be configured with different sunpad or lounge arrangements. Wide walkaround side decks lead aft to the swim platform.
Belowdecks, a gullwing door in the console opens to a compact cabin with a double berth for two and a separate head with shower and standing headroom, giving the Alpha 45 limited overnight capability to match its dayboat performance profile.
