Riva is bringing two new models to the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, where the 56 Rivale Super and 96 Argo Super will make their world premieres. The two yachts represent updates to established models, with both designed by Officina Italiana Design in collaboration with Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department. The 56 Rivale Super will also be displayed at the Genoa International Boat Show in October.
At 56 feet, 8 inches length overall, the 56 Rivale Super retains the sporty profile of its predecessor while receiving a number of styling and usability updates. A revised windscreen profile incorporates a counter-curve intended to sharpen the yacht’s silhouette, while the side grilles now match the hull color. Ergonomic changes in the cockpit are aimed at improving day-to-day comfort.
Standard power comes from twin 1,000-hp MAN V8-1000 engines, giving the open yacht a reported top speed of 34 knots and a 28-knot cruise. Optional 1,200-hp MAN V8-1200s increase those figures to 38 knots and 32 knots, respectively.
The 96 Argo Super, meanwhile, stretches 94 feet, 5 inches and builds on Riva’s flybridge model with a focus on outdoor living and greater continuity between the interior and exterior spaces. The stern and beach area have been redesigned, including a sunpad integrated into the garage door and a movable swim platform for easier access to the water. A new day head has also been added to the main deck.
Inside, the full-beam master suite gets larger windows and a revised furniture arrangement, while the lower deck can be configured with either three or four guest cabins. The three-cabin layout includes a full-beam aft VIP suite.
The first 96 Argo Super is powered by twin 2,000-hp MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines, producing a top speed of 26.5 knots and a 22.5-knot cruise. Optional 2,222-hp MTU 12V 2000 M96Z engines raise those figures to 28 and 24 knots, respectively.
