There are new renderings of the Moonflower 72, a Nauta Design project that’s under construction at Wider Superyacht Hub in Italy.

Moonflower 72 was announced in May 2022, and the keel was laid in late summer 2022. The yacht is being built with a steel hull, an aluminum superstructure and hybrid propulsion. A pair of 1,860-kilowatt, variable-speed generators will be part of the package, along with a sodium-nickel battery bank.

“The exterior design is based on the holistic and balanced combination of style and comfort with pure, elegant lines and a harmonious connection between exterior and interior,” Nauta co-founder Mario Pedol stated in a press release. “There are no fussy or superfluous details that might interrupt the close relationship with nature and the marine environment.”

Features will include multiple foldout sections to expand the beach club and swim platform into a 1,260-square-foot space.

When is Moonflower 72 expected to be ready for delivery? In 2025.
