The Castoldi Jet Tender 17 is a stylish RIB with a gullwing-style hull. It’s built using Kevlar and vinylester resin and supported by six-chambered Hypalon-coated polyester tubes. The Jet Tender 17 also has a 170 hp diesel engine paired to a Castoldi waterjet drive. Collectively, this powertrain generates  a 34-knot top speed (light ship; this metric dips to 32.5 knots when the RIB is fully loaded). The RIB can carry up to nine passengers. Features include a stepped beach-landing bow ramp, a foldout stern door and a retractable swim ladder for exploration and fun.

Whom It’s For: Anyone seeking a can-do RIB that supports a range of water sports while offering the performance, reliability and safety of a waterjet drive.

Picture This: It’s a warm, late-fall day off St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and your partner feels like going swimming. Your yacht is berthed at the St. Croix Marine Center at Christiansted Harbor, so you load the cooler and beach towels into your Castoldi Jet Tender 17 and zip over to Little Bay Beach for a dip. Afterward, you casually cruise back to Christiansted, arriving in time for the daily crudo and cassava-crusted mahi at Savant.
