Canados Yachts in Italy says it will launch a 571 Blade in autumn 2023, with the first four hulls already reserved following a presentation to the yard’s dealer network.

The 571 Blade will join the Gladiator line’s seven models from 41 to 96 feet length overall. The models are reportedly capable of top speeds from 37 to 85 knots.

Exterior design on the 571 Blade is by the shipyard in collaboration with Satura Studio in Rome. The look is based on the Gladiator 493, which the yard says is one of its best sellers. New features will include a reverse sofa above the swim platform for clients who like watersports; side lockers for cockpit fenders; built-in reverse armchairs forward; and a sizable tender garage.

Base-model power will be twin 725-horsepower Volvo Penta D11s. Options will include triple or quadruple 600-horsepower Mercury V12s. Canados is projecting a speed of 36 knots with the base package and speeds above 50 knots with optional engines. Range is expected to be 240 to 350 nautical miles at cruising speeds.

Construction will be vacuum-bagged E-glass with carbon-fiber components, including the hardtop.

What are the layout options on the 571 Blade? Owners can choose two staterooms with two heads, a salon and a captain’s cabin; or three staterooms and two heads with either a salon or a captain’s cabin.
