Azimut has launched the first unit of the Grande 30M at its Viareggio shipyard, adding a new flagship to the brand’s Grande Series. The yacht brings together two first-time collaborators: exterior designer Alberto Mancini and interior design studio m2atelier. Their partnership introduces the “Barefoot Luxury” concept, which emphasizes a more relaxed, authentic lifestyle on board, tailored to a new generation of yacht owners.

In addition to its design innovations, the Grande 30M is also the first yacht to feature Rolls-Royce’s new MTU propulsion system with pod drives. According to Azimut, this setup boosts efficiency by 15 percent compared with traditional shaft line systems, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and lower carbon dioxide emissions.

The launch also reflects Azimut’s broader philosophy. Founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli, the company is part of the Azimut-Benetti Group and today builds yachts from 42 to 144 feet across seven model series. Known for pushing design and technology forward, the brand has long paired steady growth with an emphasis on environmental and social sustainability. With five shipyards in Italy, a facility in Brazil, and a presence in 80 countries worldwide, Azimut has become one of the most recognized names in international yacht building.

The Grande 30M is set for its official international debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.
