Thousand Islands, located on Canadian-American border, boasts more than 1,800 islands all throughout the St. Lawrence River. A popular boating and fishing destination, the shores of the waterway provide stunning scenery with views of castles and old lighthouses.

Fun Fact: The Singer Castle is named after the Singer Company — of sewing machine fame. The castle was built in the early 1900s for the president of the company at the time, Frederick Bourne.
