Thomas Biederman wasn’t trying, necessarily, to win Yachting’s Sunset Photo Contest when he stepped out of his boat’s salon and caught this stunning image on Georgia’s Lake Lanier. But we’re glad he took the photo. It beat out 55 other impressive sunset images to win Biederman a Fusion Stereo Active.
“I was cruising back to port after a great day on the water and thought it was a great sunset to end the day,” Biederman says.
“I stepped out of the cabin to take the shot. Timing was excellent.”
