Sometimes, as we leaf through the photos of astoundingly large and luxurious super-yachts available for charter, we marvel at the amount of pampering some folks require in order to get their relaxation on. Don’t get us wrong: Would we love to spend a fun week cruising a far-flung coast, slipping back and forth between dips off the stern and sessions in the hot tub, treading barefoot over silk carpets, being fed spa cuisine by a four-star chef, slipping into blissful dreams between ironed Frette sheets? Hell, yeah! But one look at a photo like the one above, taken by Yachting’s charter editor, Kim Kavin, at the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting, and we’re reminded that the most important part of our time on the water is the ahhhhh-sensation and it doesn’t really matter how we get there — it’s as much about the stunning sunset as it is the size of the deck you view it from. Well, almost as much.
