Ft. Lauderdale is like America’s Venice. With the Intracoastal Waterway and the New River snaking and stretching throughout the city, there are literally hundreds of places to tie up your boat. For a short on-shore jaunt, there are a plethora of marinas along the New River and ICW to dock for a meal or some shopping (my personal favorite is Briny’s Pub just west of the S. Andrew’s Avenue Bridge on the New River for a mid-day libation or lunch). However, for those looking to spend some extended time soaking up the sun in this yachting Mecca, try one of these marinas.
