Not many yachts can claim to have a roof made of solar panels, but that’s indeed the case with the 115-foot Arcadia M Ocean, which is now for sale on the brokerage market with Ocean Drive at an asking price of €8.9 million (about $12 million at the current conversion rate).

M Ocean is a 2012 build that has been in charter in the Mediterranean since her launch. Ocean Drive is not only the sales broker; the company is also the charter manager and the exclusive Arcadia dealer in France and Monaco, and handled the build for the current owner. Its team knows the yacht inside and out, including how the crew training was performed.

The interior aboard M Ocean is contemporary, with the staggering amount of natural light that you would expect from a yacht meant to make the most of solar energy. Windows seem enormous in the guest spaces on the main deck, so much so that on bright days with the window shades up, you may want to wear your sunglasses.

M Ocean has a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 16 knots. She is still in the Mediterranean, where viewing is available for potential buyers.
