GSE Trieste submarine
Y.CO has become the exclusive sales agent for the Yellow Submarine, an electric manned submersible built by GSE Trieste.
The VAS 525/60 model is built to military standards and is designed to work in conjunction with a mothership such as a superyacht. It can carry four to five passengers to a depth of 525 feet with total underwater time as long as eight hours.
The Yellow Submarine is RINA-classified and is compliant with U.S. Coast Guard regulations for operating in United States waters, according to the manufacturer.
GSE Trieste grew out of Subsea Oil Services and Maritalia S.p.A. and has been involved with the small-submersible market since 1991. The company builds mini-subs for underwater archaeology, offshore and seabed exploration, fishing and hydrographic industries, and leisure superyachts.
