Amels 180 Limited Editions
Amels has signed a contract to build a 180 Limited Editions superyacht with a custom interior by Christian Liaigre — and delivery to the owners in May 2015.
“In just 16 months, these owners will be enjoying a very personal yacht, clearly tailored to their own strong appreciation of artistry and refined lifestyle,” Amels CEO Rob Luijendijk stated in a news release. “Across the industry we see delivery time as increasingly pivotal in owners’ decision-making, and this new order brokered by Burgess confirms our leadership in this regard.”
The superyacht will have folding balconies in the owners’ suite and main salon, a touch-and-go helipad and a water-level beach club with a steam room. As with all Limited Editions yachts, the exterior is by Tim Heywood. The interior will be the first by Liaigre in an Amels build. Accommodations will be for 12 guests and 13 crew.
Maximum speed will be 15.5 knots, and cruising speed will be 13 knots. Range will be 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
