The Vanqraft 16 is a crossover between a superyacht tender and a water scooter.
Vanquish Yachts in the Netherlands just did the first test run on its Vanqraft 16, a 16-foot crossover between a superyacht tender and a water scooter.
"It quickly became clear that the concept created by Vanquish owner Tom Steentjes works like a dream," the company stated in a press release.
Standard power on the Vanqraft 16 is a 200 hp Yamaha 1.8-liter jet engine that drives the vessel to 40 knots. The Veloce version jacks that up to 50 knots.
The first models are expected to tour the West Mediterranean in May and June.
Maneuverability galore: The Vanqraft 16 can ride in reverse, and the jet drive is built flat into the hull for loading into superyacht tender garages.
