Turquoise Yachts has sold a 242-foot yacht with exteriors by A. Vallicelli & C. Yacht Designers, and interiors by Ken Freivokh Design.

The shipyard signed the contract in late 2018 and has already begun construction.

“The design focus is on classical elegance,” Freivokh stated in a press release. “The idea is to achieve a layout that has complete integration between the decks and key internal spaces — with everything designed to maximize the continuity of the yacht’s lines as well as long sightlines.”

The owners’ stateroom will be on the upper deck with a private sitting area that includes two side terraces. Total accommodations will be for 12 guests, with some of the staterooms opening to adjoining staterooms to create suites.

The yacht also will have a multideck atrium with a spiral staircase, a full-beam beach club with opening shell doors on either side, and a garage for a 31-foot limousine tender.

Forward will be a touch-and-go area for a helicopter.

When will the yacht be delivered? Toward the end of 2020, according to Turquoise Yachts.
