Texas-based Larson Electronics has released a handheld spotlight with 7 million candlepower, generating 1,800 lumens and providing a beam reach of more than 1,600 feet with one 100-watt halogen bulb.
The HL-85-CPR-D-1227 handheld spotlight also has an inline dimmer and an advanced reflector. Its 120/277V AC vehicle plug lets it operate on the same voltages at 50/60Hz. The unit is rated IP65 waterproof, the body is made of ABS polycarbonate, and the lens is impact- and shatter-resistant, according to Larson.
The handle attaches the spotlight to a magnetic base, which can be mounted on a tripod.
