They’re Working Overtime in Italy

The Overmarine Group launches its second Mangusta 94 in just three weeks.

Hull No. 2 of the Overmarine Group’s new Mangusta 94 model has splashed, just three weeks after Hull No. 1 launched. The newest 94 features innovations that are not on the first build, including 2,600-hp engines that typically come on larger yachts as well as gyroscopic stabilizers.

The owner of Hull No. 2 cared a great deal about natural light, so the boat has four skylights in the main salon in addition to large side windows. Also, in the owner’s suite on the lower deck, two side portholes can be opened — a feature that will be on all future Mangusta models.

Three additional guest cabins are on that same lower deck, a VIP suite and two cabins with twin beds.

Overmarine Group Design Office handled the interior décor, which is described as “modern, topical and contemporary.” It features wenge and oak decapé woodwork in addition to white leather on the ceiling.

The Mangusta 94 is expected to be presented publicly for the first time this September at the international boat shows in Cannes and Monaco. Until then, you can learn more at www.overmarine.it. (And while you’re there, check out the drawings for the proposed Mangusta 205. She’s a show-stopper.)
