Amels in the Netherlands has sold its third Amels 200, with delivery scheduled in early 2024.

Amels and Damen Yachting Sales Director Rob Luijendijk worked with the owner during the sale.

“This is a yacht which combines original design and high volume with exceptional functionality to really provide the ultimate luxury yachting experience,” Luijendijk stated in a press release. “We very much look forward to embarking on the build journey with them.”

Exteriors on the Limited Editions design are by Tim Heywood, based on the Amels 188. Gross tonnage will be 1,015, and the yacht will have hybrid electrical power. Features will include a four-deck elevator, an air-conditioned gymnasium on the sundeck, and full-height windows in the owners’ stateroom.

“The additional length of the Amels 200 enhances the overall elegance and sophistication of my design, both inside and out,” Heywood stated in the press release. “The larger windows create a lighter atmosphere to the interior, which is very welcoming. This is a yacht with complex, multifaceted forms, complemented with graceful flowing lines, which combine to create a real eye-catching yacht of which I am extremely proud. Her many winding exterior surfaces allow the sunlight and reflections to add to the magic and make her really special.”

Interiors will be by Winch Design, which has worked with the yard on other builds. This will be Winch’s first Amels 200.
