Tankoa Yachts in Italy has presented the concept for Apache, a 250-foot steel and aluminum superyacht with a 1,345-square-foot beach club and a 31-foot swimming pool.

The master stateroom is forward on the upper deck with direct access to the pool, which Tankoa is calling a “flying pool.” It is suspended in the bow between the upper and main decks.

“Apache consolidates Tankoa’s ability to build yachts of this size,” CEO Vincenzo Poerio stated in a press release. “It is an evolution of existing projects into something innovative and more contemporary with the collaboration of a top designer like Alberto Mancini.”

Mancini says he paid special attention to the folding platforms that open up the beach club; the platforms are fitted with one-way glass that’s the same color as the hull.

“I wanted to avoid the typical cave dark effect that today we see in many beach clubs,” Mancini stated in the press release. “Indeed, Apache’s beach club design is not just an area for accessing the sea to be enjoyed only when anchored during the day; it is fully integrated with the main deck salon so it can be used day or night as an extension of the outdoor living space.”

Power and distance: Apache is being offered with twin Caterpillar C3512E engines or twin MTU V4000 M73 engines. The top projected speed is 16.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
