Big news from Italy: Hull No. 1 of the new Ferretti Yachts flagship model has launched.
The Ferretti Yachts 1000 has a length overall just shy of 99 feet, with a beam of 22 feet, 4 inches. Draft is 7 feet, 6 inches, making the yacht shallow-water friendly.
Standard power is an MTU 16V 2000 M86, which Ferretti Yachts says will provide a cruise speed of 20 knots and a top speed of 24 knots. Owners also can opt for an MTU 16V 2000 M96L, for a cruise speed of 24 knots and a top hop of 28 knots.
“The new flagship is an exciting choral work permeated by the flair, vision and passion of so many skilled and talented people who represent the winning factor for Ferretti Yachts. To them all, I’d like to offer my heartfelt thanks for how they have completed an extraordinary project like Ferretti Yachts 1000 in such a complicated year,” Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi stated in a press release. “This fantastic yacht really is a beautiful private island on which to imagine your future, in contact with the sea and the finest Made in Italy marine expertise.”
