Benetti Yachts in Italy has launched the first hull of the Motopanfilo 37M, a 120-foot motoryacht inspired by the “navette” yachts of the 1960s.

The Motopanfilo 37M is built in fiberglass. Francesco Struglia designed the exteriors in collaboration with Benetti, while Lazzarini Pickering Architects drew the interiors.

According to Benetti, the displacement hull matched to a pair of 1,380-horsepower MAN V12s (upgradeable to 1,625 horsepower) will provide a maximum speed of 16 or 18 knots depending on the engines, with a range of 3,800 nautical miles at the 10-knot cruising speed.

Features include a beach club for easy water access, a spiral staircase from the main deck to the sky lounge, an outdoor hot tub, a main-deck owner’s stateroom, four guest staterooms belowdecks, and quarters for three crew.

What’s the space that’s above the hardtop? Benetti calls this an observation deck, providing a sheltered nook with sweeping views.
