MAN Engines has introduced the MAN Smart Hybrid Experience, which offers zero-emission capability along with a way to combine conventional marine engines, electric motors and batteries.

The company says that depending on how boaters choose to cruise, the system can focus on performance, comfort or efficiency.

“MAN Engines offers each and every customer a tailored solution for their specific hybrid needs,” Matthias Schreiber, head of MAN Engines, stated in a press release. “The MAN Smart Hybrid Experience represents the next level of mobility, building upon the familiar reliability and sustainability that MAN Engines is known for.”
