Y.CO is extending its Charter with Confidence option to include summer 2021 bookings.

Clients can book a charter with a 25 percent deposit, rather than the standard 50 percent deposit, and can cancel the charter for any reason until March 1 to receive the deposit back in full.

After March 1, the charter may still be canceled or modified for reasons related to Covid-19, in keeping with standard MYBA contract terms.

Y.CO is reporting strong demand for summer 2021 charters, with many clients having missed out on charters because of the pandemic in summer 2020.

“We are delighted to be able to offer both our charter clients and our yacht owners a more flexible approach to yacht charter in the present climate,” Charlie Birkett, Y.CO co-founder and CEO, stated in a press release. “It’s clear that clients are viewing yachting as a much freer alternative to shore-based travel due to their natural isolation, and many clients are hoping to bring their families back together and spend time together in a safe environment. Through offering this flexible booking policy, we hope we will make it easier for both our clients and our charter yacht owners to plan ahead and make the most of next summer with better peace of mind.”

Which charter yachts are offering the flexible terms? Quite a few yachts are offering the terms, including the newly launched Amels Galene and the Perini Navi Panthalassa, which has a strong charter record.
