Sojana Returns to Round Antigua Race

The monohull elapsed time record holder Sojana will be racing again this year.

The Round Antigua Race is returning on Saturday, April 23, and will feature more classes than previous races, including include big boat and racing, sport boat, cruising, multihull, bareboat and classic. There are 33 boats currently entered in the sailing competition.

The current Round Antigua Race monohull elapsed time record holder, the Farr-designed 115-foot Sojana, will be returning this year. Sojana set the record in 2009, completing the race in 4 hours, 37 minutes and 43 seconds

The Round Antigua awards presentation will be held in conjunction with the Antigua Sailing Week Welcome Party. Prizes will be awarded to 1st through 3rd places in each class, the overall corrected time winner and the monohull corrected time winner.
