Simrad has announced the GO9 XSE with radar capability. The unit will be available exclusively through West Marine starting in November, with expanded U.S. distribution to begin in January.

The Simrad GO9 XSE joins the manufacturer’s GO Series systems. It has a 9-inch screen that shows charts, waypoints and other information, all accessible through controls that are similar to those on smartphones and tablets.

The Simrad GO9 XSE is compatible with Simrad Broadband 3G/4G Radar systems, as well as with SiriusXM weather/radio in the United States. The unit has StructureScan HD and CHIRP Sonar for fish-finding; autopilot integration; engine-data monitoring; audio-entertainment connectivity through SonicHub2; built-in wireless connectivity and Simrad’s TripIntel trip computer.
