Rich Lazzara at Lazzara Lenton says there has been a $500,000 price reduction on the 116-foot Lazzara Serenity, a 2008 build that will be on display this weekend at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show. The asking price is now $7.495 million.

Serenity is a four-stateroom design that has long been popular in the Florida and Bahamas charter market with RJC Yachts. She is one of the few yachts in her size range designed to be wheelchair accessible, with hardwood flooring instead of carpets on the main deck and one guest cabin outfitted with hardly noticeable, but highly useful features such as extra-wide doors and bathroom handrails. More conspicuous is a chair lift in the stairwell leading from the main deck down to the cabins; the lift, of course, may be removed if the new owner doesn’t need it.

The MTU DDC 2000 diesels have 2,600 hours on them. They drive Serenity to a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 27 knots. A pair of 55-kW Onan generators show 5,000 hours of use.
