The owners of the Outer Reef Yachts 610 Sandana, along with their Outer Reef Yachts broker, took the newly delivered yacht on a 1,200-nautical-mile shakedown cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Newport, Rhode Island. The voyage took five days and 6 hours.

The crew stopped in at Rudee Inlet, Virginia Beach, and Beverly, Massachusetts, during the cruise, as well as enjoyed the view in New York Harbor. Outer Reef reports that Sandana cruised flawlessly and, from their home port of Newport, the owners could enjoy a New England summer on the water.

The yacht is 61 feet 2 inches length overall and has a 17-foot-2-inch beam. She displaces 93,000 pounds and has a 1,000-gallon fuel capacity. Power comes from twin 500 hp John Deere 6090 diesel engines. Sandana will be at the Newport International Boat Show this September. You can schedule a personalized viewing here.
