Riviera Yachts is bringing 8 yachts to the Miami International Boat Show in February, ranging in size from 43 to 60 feet, including Sport Yachts, SUVs and Flybridge vessels.

The builder’s Sport Yachts on display at the Miami Marine Stadium in Virginia Key will include the 4800 , 5400 and 6000 . There will also be the 445 and 525 SUV s, 43 Open Flybridge and 57 Enclosed Bridge, as well as the builder’s Belize 54 Daybridge .

Riviera’s Sport Yachts are noted for having aggressive, low-profiles, mid-20-knot cruise speeds, recessed windows and the ability to open up the salon and cockpit to create indoor-outdoor entertainment areas. The builder’s SUVs, like the 445 and 525, can be used as straight-up cruising craft, hybrid cruising and diving, or even be outfitted for sport fishing. Riviera has equipped its SUVs in all these ways, and combinations of all of them too. The vessels’ aft-galley setups make it easy to serve guests in the cockpit and salon.

For those who like the view from on high, Riviera will have its midsize 43 Open Flybridge and her larger sibling, the 57 Enclosed Flybridge, ready for viewing. I’ve had the chance to spend a summer running a Riviera 40 Convertible as well as a 47 Convertible, and found them both to be bluewater-capable craft that were also equipped with a watertight collision bulkhead forward. Like the SUVs, these vessels can be setup for myriad purposes, depending upon on owners wants and needs.

The Belize 54 Daybridge is part of a new line of motoryachts that Riviera introduced a few years ago, and also includes a 54 Sedan, 66 Daybridge and 66 Sedan, all marked by a gentle sheerline that rises as it transitions forward to the bow. In referencing the line’s style and vision, the builder stated, “If the wooden boats of the past our past had kept evolving, how might they look today?” To that end, the 54 Daybridge has a low profile, adding a bit of chic style to her aesthetic. Like the SUVS, the 54 Daybridge has the ability to integrate the salon and cockpit entertainment areas and makes an adept cruiser.

Some of these vessels, like the SUVs, are setup solely for pod-drive propulsion, while others like the 57 Enclosed Bridge can also be equipped with straight-shaft diesels.
