Regulator 21FS

Regulator has earned its bones with the hard-to-please fishing set and hopes the new dual-purpose 21FS will further that reputation with more recreational yachtsmen.

The “FS” reflects the forward seating layout designed to accommodate six comfortably. The design also incorporates two 73-quart fishboxes and space for a marine head.

Designing boat transoms for specific engines is a developing trend, one Regulator has embraced. The newly configured after end of the 21FS makes design concessions for the Yamaha 200 hp HPDI and the four-stroke F225.

The self-bailing cockpit affords enough room for a few anglers, and two 52-quart bait/fishboxes will keep things fresh. All horizontal surfaces have a molded nonslip finish. The bow rail is one-piece welded stainless steel, and all through-hull fittings are stainless, as well.

An array of options, including a T-top and various seat cushions, can dress out the 21FS to be as complete a battlewagon as the larger boats in Regulator’s line. An anchor locker far forward allows vertical stowage.

The helm is atop a spacious console with stowage accessible through an aft-facing slider. A glove box, available flat surface and rocker-style switches are designed to hide, secure and control the electronics and systems._ Regulator Marine, (252) 482-3837;_ www.regulatormarine.com_._
