The Regal 42 Fly is the newest addition to the builder’s Sport Yacht line, which ranges from 35 to 53 feet length overall. The 42 is available with twin 750 hp Volvo Penta IPS500s or 870 hp IPS600s, along with other options including a Seakeeper 5 stabilizer, a dinghy launch-and-retrieval system, a push-button feature for electrically lowering and raising the swim platform, and a teak table to make use of the cockpit’s barbecue grill on sunny days.

A remote key FOB is standard for controlling the windlass, as are a glass cockpit helm setup and joystick control. Inside, the layout includes two staterooms (forward and aft) and what Regal calls an open-air atrium, part of the design’s overall use of glass to bring in natural light. Owners can choose among a trio of countertop styles, wood or carpeted soles, and leather or other fabrics.

Don’t want the flybridge? Then check out the Regal 42 Grande Coupe. It’s the same boat, sans the topper.
