Last summer was my first spending an extended amount of time on a Pursuit. A friend bought a 3070 Center Console for his family and used it extensively to cruise and fish the waters of eastern Long Island Sound, Block Island Sound and Narragansett Bay. I was impressed with the 3060’s thoughtful design details and stable riding characteristics.

That boat is similar to the new 2670 Cuddy Console. The cuddy cabin has a complete V-berth and head designed to help you escape from the elements while providing stowage for tackle and other marine gear. Abaft the cabin is a combination step/seat for access to the bow and casting platform.

The cockpit is fishing-ready and includes a 40-gallon transom live well. Fishermen will also appreciate the macerated fishbox in the deck. Tackle drawers in the transom and tackle boxes secured in the leaning post will hold necessary equipment when trolling for game fish, live-baiting sails or fishing for yellowtails. A bait prep station and sink are included.

Her center helm has a convenient tilt-away console that allows easy access to wiring.

Standard equipment includes a five-year hull/deck structural and blister-free transferable warranty, a custom one-piece stainless-steel low-profile bow rail, a leaning post with rocket launchers, cockpit courtesy lighting and a forward rode/anchor locker with overboard drain. A host of power and mechanical options are available.
