Princess Yachts plans to debut the Princess 49 at the British Motor Yacht Show from May 20-22 in Southampton.

The Princess 49 will be the first model in the builder’s Flybridge range to have the latest Volvo Penta IPS pod-drive system. Other models in the Princess Yachts Flybridge range go from 43 to 98 feet length overall.

According to the builder, the Princess 49 will have a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top end of 35 knots.

Key design elements include the flybridge with twin helm seat, a sofa that converts to a sunpad, and an aft seating area with folding table. Inside, the salon has an aft galley just a few steps from the outdoor cockpit. A folding teak table with seating is there for additional meal space.

Add to the fun: A bar and barbecue are optional on the flybridge.
