Outer Reef has unveiled plans for its Trident 3000 Series of fast-displacement yachts, designed by Setzer Yacht Design. The first models will be the 98-foot Trident 3000 and the 106-foot Trident 3200.

“This megayacht series will be coveted by long-range cruisers who dream of a yacht that provides it all: valuable space, impressionable presentation, efficient performance, fun and overall tranquility on the water,” Outer Reef President and CEO Jeff Druek stated in a press release. “I am very excited that Outer Reef has pioneered such a contemporary fast-displacement motoryacht of this caliber.”

Key exterior design elements include a flybridge with sunroof, a sky lounge that opens to outdoor dining, and space for an 18-foot tender. Inside are a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck, and four guest staterooms belowdecks.

Outer Reef plans to move forward on tooling for the new designs this spring.

Standard power: 1,136-bhp Caterpillar C32s producing a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top end of 15.5 knots.

Optional engines: 1,800-bhp Caterpillar C32s that bump the standard speeds to 17.5 and 21 knots, respectively.
