Recently at FLIBS Outer Reef introduced the 620 Solara, a boat built —like all Outer Reefs —for those with a passion for adventure and a deep appreciation of top-level seakeeping. The Solara is a sporty sedan version of the Trident 620 already in production, except without the flybridge, that will be ideal for trips like cruising America’s Great Loop or the European canal system. But she’ll also be built to Ocean, Category A Standards, “Unrestricted Navigation,” and the highest RCD rating, which means she is safe to be aboard even in bashing open seas.

The boat was designed in collaboration with Setzer Yacht Architects and has a plumb bow that not only helps with efficiency, it also makes sure that the accommodations level has plenty of space, a happy little coincidence of design to be sure. Other onboard features include an open sunroof, aft galley and a large hydraulic swim platform that provides easy access to the water.
