Northrop and Johnson has just welcomed the superyacht Aquavita to its Bahamas and Caribbean charter fleet. She’s the only Westport 164 available for charter worldwide, joining quite a few Westport 130 and 112 models that are available for bookings.

The owner — who has never before owned a yacht — was a charter client who invested a few million dollars in the 2009 build before marketing her for charter. Aquavita has just completed an interior refit, a bridge-deck extension with new outdoor seating and a sundeck reconfiguration that includes a 10-person hot tub.

Aquavita‘s crew is led by Capt. Doug Wernick, who is well-known in charter circles from his years of commanding the popular 156-foot Christensen Lady Joy.
